Our Oceans cover three-fourths of the earth. They feed us. They give our World the breath. Without it, there would be no life. A kind of material, a material that never goes, plastic. 5 Million tons going every year into the oceans.

This amount is about the World Production of plastic in 1960. A big part of it float on the water, cause it´s lighter than water. It travels along rivers and sewage water system directly into the sea. Plastic is nonbiodegradable waste. Paper decomposed after a year. Wood and tins need a hundred years and more to decompose. But plastic, it doesnt composed. It collapse into billions and billions little particles. Catched by streams those particles goes ahead in the outlying corners of the oceans. But what do this contaminat ?

What happens with the million of tons of plastic waste emboss in the sea?

A part of this washed up on the coasts and beaches, the rest assembeld in big waste eddy´s in the oceans.

80 percent of all birds in the arctic got already plastic waste in there stomage´s. Plastic and food could easiliy get one's wires crossed.

But is plastic so white as everybody mind? Scientist found out that there´s a synthetic hormon called "Bis Phenol A". On many beaches there´s a very high concentration of it.

The dangerous add on "BPA" provokes since years heavy discussions, but up today our Industry use it still as an emollient. It´s a forbidden matter in europe plastic Industrys.

The chemical parts of plastic doesnt need high temprature do composed, they composed until 30° celcius. After that toxic options dissolving like "BPA" and mixed up for example with sea water without any problem.

If plastic composed in water it will be a toxical time bomb.

Animals to eat some kind of plastic waste will be eating big higher ranked Animals in the food chain, what results that any higher ranked Animal got more harmful substances inside. On the highest rank of food chain are we, humans.

Sea dwellers stand on our bill of fare. Toxics which we have created would be to an dangerous area vor us too.

The legend that plastic is clean could be confuted.

It´s the continuing composed of plastic. Cause of salt water, waves and solar radiation in the oceans it goes realy fast that we dont see it any more. If plastic becomes the size of cell it will be a dangerous invader for humans. Daily we consume little parts of nanoparticles and daily we divulgement it.

An other problem involved plastic is the fishery. Produced nettings and ropes off plastic going-on above the oceans.

Cheap depolluted or lost they are an other very big risc for us. Any kind of sea dwellers could get divulged over the oceans. In case of this those invaders could banish nativ sea dwellers. This threat our ecological system massivly and can destroy it.

Ghost-nettings threat many sea dwellers everyday. Many of them entangle one self in there and couldnt get out there any more. For example Turtles, Dolphins and Seals dies in there agonizing what is also a reason that they are a threatend species.

Everybody could add something that there´s less plastic waste. For an example I try to avoid to buy welded products, plastic bottles and plastic carrier bags. But this doesnt work everywhere in our household and the industry.

Therefore we need to get a awared ahndling with plastic.

It´s a kind of a little step but for example my conditor doesnt use plastic package. He use as many years ago paper bags and parchment paper.

This is a charge we have for following generations.
